The Global Shea Alliance (GSA) launched the "Action for Shea Parkland" (ASP) initiative to address the ecological decline of shea trees through three core objectives: growing populations, protecting parklands, and promoting behavioral changes. The strategy aims to plant 10 million new trees, engage 10 million women collectors in restoration, and collaborate with 10 countries to improve management policies.
