Shea Beauty Company Limited was registered and incorporated in the Republic of Uganda in 2014 with the major objective of producing and marketing Shea butter and Shea butter products and has continued to do so ever since. Over the years the company has gradually grown, albeit in small steps, to market its products not only in Uganda and within the East Africa region but has succeeded to export it's products to several customers beyond the region, notably to the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Canada and Finland to mention some. The company's flagship product is organic raw Shea butter, but its Shea butter creams, Shea butter lotion and Shea butter bathing soap have found loyal customers within Uganda and Nairobi in Kenya. We have exported one consignment of the bathing soap to Taiwan. The company is researching possible new Shea butter based products and should have released some of these but were held back by the lockdowns which have seen the company's sales plummet dramatically. It is our hope that this situation will improve. In 2016 the company obtained organic certification from Ceres for the first time and is currently in the process of renewing its organic certification. Shea Beauty Company Limited seeks durable partnerships with like-minded companies around the world. The preferred partnership would be in the form of marketing representation. We hope that this dream will be realized. The company always strives to help its foreign customers through shipping facilitation. It assists customers who need to be helped in getting their products freighted to them, by bus in case of regional customers or by airfreight for customers further afield.
