This presentation, delivered by Global Shea Alliance (GSA), in partnership with the University for Development Studies (UDS) and King’s College London (KCL)at the 2025 EU Conference, is advancing an integrated shea agroforestry model in West Africa through the GSLERP program, addressing the financing challenges faced by smallholder farmers adopting climate smart practices that enhance carbon sequestration and biodiversity. The model incorporates tree planting, living fencing and clean cookstoves to generate carbon credits while diversifying livelihoods.
