BRIEF ON ECONOMIC POTENTIAL OF SHEA IN CHINA

This manual has been prepared by Sidley Austin LLP on behalf of the Global
Shea Alliance (GSA) as part of the "Supporting the inclusive commercial
development of the shea value chain" financed by the Enhanced Integrated
Framework (EIF). This initiative aims to stimulate pro-poor growth in Benin,
Burkina Faso, Mali and Togo and Togo by increasing demand for value-added
shea products, helping small businesses to access international markets and
helping to increase the commercial incomes of collectors and processors.
